Established in 2024, FunSteel PTE. Ltd. is a branch company of Chongqing Fenglin Materials Co., Ltd which has been operating since 2010. Founded in Shapingba District in Chongqing, Chongqing Fenglin Materials is an enterprise that engages in both production and trading of general-purpose ferrochrome. It focuses on supplying high-quality ferrochromium to specialty steel plants, stainless steel plants, carbon steel plants and other foundries.

A Brief History

In 2010, Chongqing Fenglin Materials Co., LTD is founded in Shapingba District in Chongqing.

In 2013, the company jointly established Fengzhen Xinfeng Metallurgy Co., Ltd. alongside Xintai Industrial Group in Fengzhen City, Ulanqab City, Inner Mongolia. The facility covers an area of 9,559 square meters is equipped with two 5-ton converters. It produces 25,000 tons of medium-carbon ferrochrome every year and an annual output value of 350 million RMB.

In 2018, the company made another investment to establish Xinghe County Xinfeng Metallurgy Co., Ltd. in Xinghe County, Ulanqab City, Inner Mongolia. The new facility covers an area of 20,496 square meters and is equipped with one 15-ton converter and one 20-ton vacuum furnace, specializing in producing medium-carbon and low-carbon ferrochrome. It produces 50,000 tons of ferrochrome annually and has an annual output value of 700 million RMB.

Currently, the headquarters of the company is located in Pudong New District in Shanghai and is responsible for importing high-quality products from abroad and has signed long-term strategic cooperation agreements with leading manufacturers.
